Dr. Laura Downey M.D. F.A.C.S

Otolaryngology, Otology/Neurotology

Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Downey possesses special expertise in the diseases of the ear, dizziness, tinnitus, and hearing related disorders.

She has authored articles on subjects including Tinnitus, Cochlear Implantation in Malformed Cochleas, and Lesions of the Internal Auditory Canal. The last two subjects she also presented to The American Neurotologic Society. Dr. Downey's other peer presentations have included "Clinical Evidence of Direct HIV Cochleotoxicity" as well as Anosmia in Chronic Sinusitis."

She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Allergy, and Women in Otolaryngology.

Dr. Downey received her M.D. from The New York University School of Medicine and completed her Otolaryngology residency at New York University Medical Center, where she also completed a Fellowship in Otology/Neurotology.

  

Todd A. Morrow, M.D., F.A.C.S .

Todd A. Morrow, M.D., F.A.C.S. is double board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose &Throat) / Head & Neck Surgery, as well as the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. With extensive training and expertise in both fields, Dr. Morrow is able to provide an unparalleled level of care to his patients. A caring, honest approach, and meticulous attention to detail are used to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction.

In addition to treating patients with a variety of ears, nose, throat, head and neck disorders, Dr. Morrow is a specialist in facial plastic surgery. He has acquired years of experience as a facial plastic surgeon after being trained by the masters in his field. He is highly endorsed by his peers and is well known for his exceptional quality of work. Dr. Morrow is complemented by an attentive and caring staff.

Education and Training
After receiving his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Dr. Morrow completed a residency in Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School. He was awarded a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Reynaldo Paraiso D.O.

  

 

Dr Paraiso is a physician trained in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery.  He completed his training from the ENT/Facial Plastic Surgery Program in NYCOM/St Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. He earned his medical degree form UMDNJ/SOM in Stratford, NJ and his bachelor's degreee from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ.   

Dr Paraiso treats a variety of ear, nose and throat disorders in adult and pediatric patients.  He trained in both surgical and non surgical approaches to managing sleep apnea and snoring disorders.  From creating oral guards, inserting Pillar implants, to genioglossal and hyoid suspension techniques, Dr Paraiso can manage different ranges of sleep disorders. He also has expertise in treating patients with diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses.  Using minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery, as well as balloon sinuplasty, he can help restore normal sinus drainage and function, with the principle of preserving normal anatomy and mucosal tissue.

He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Osteopathic Otolaryngology, American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and NJ Osteopathic Physicans and Surgeons. He also serves as an instructor to Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery Residents at St Barnabas Medical Center.

Danielle Blake. M.D.

With an innate passion for science and profound compassion for others, Dr. Blake recognized her calling for medicine before completing the sixth grade. A bit earlier in Elementary School, she also discovered a passion for singing, particularly classical music.

Dr. Blake grew up in Livingston, New Jersey. She attended Newark Academy, where she focused focused on math, science, and music. On weekends she attended a music conservatory in New York City, studying music theory and history in addition to voice. She headed to the University of Pennsylvania as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar to begin her college career, where she majored in Biological Basis of Behavior and minored in Music.

Dr. Blake earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, during which time she remained committed to becoming an Otolaryngologist. She completed her five years of Otolaryngology residency training at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She authored more than 20 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals throughout medical school and residency.

After her residency, Dr. Blake moved back to New Jersey and went directly into practice at AONJ. She treats adults and children both medically and surgically in all aspects of otolaryngology including sinonasal disease, voice disorders, ear problems, and hearing loss.

Dr. Blake currently resides in Jersey City where she enjoys the beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty. In addition, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as going to Broadway shows in New York City. Also an avid tennis fan, she looks forward to attending the U.S. Open each year.

 

Dr. Dennis Yifeng Chen

Dr. Dennis Yifeng Chen is an adult and pediatric allergist-immunologist who earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine in New York. He graduated with M.D. with Research Distinction owing to his tireless research efforts addressing the unmet needs of patients suffering from post-9/ll asthma and allergic diseases. His research garnered national attention as he was invited to give oral presentation at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology national meeting.

Dr. Chen completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Mt. Sinai West and Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospitals, where he actively served as a leader in various patient quality improvement projects. Dr. Chen went on to specialize in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Downstate Medical Center in New York, where he continued research in allergic and immunologic disorders culminating in various presentations at national meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Before joining Associates in Otolaryngology, Dr. Chen was an allergist with ENT and Allergy Associates in Brooklyn, NY, where he was voted Best Allergist in Brooklyn. Dr. Chen is double Board Certified in Allergy & Immunology and Internal Medicine. He has been promoted to a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Dr. Chen treats both adult and pediatric patients for a wide variety of allergic and immunologic disorders such as seasonal & indoor allergies, asthma, food allergies, drug allergies, eczema, hives, and chronic sinusitis.
